When we visited the fair before I remember seeing lots and lots of fancy chickens - rows and rows of cages, in fact. And fancy pigeons and other fowl, too. This time I only saw one area with a few exotic birds in it ... rather disappointing ... and there weren't any signs to identify the birds, so I googled a bit when I got back to try to figure out what they may be. Any chicken experts out there? You see that arrow at the top of the page? On this drawing expedition, instead of carrying a book with me I took loose sheets of 8.5 x 8.5 paper on a sturdy clipboard. Any day now I'm going to bind them up. I drew on both sides of the paper so I made marks to know which end was up.
